Sony Ericsson has recently announced the new G705. The spec list for this phone includes WiFi, GPS, 3G, a 2.4-inch QVGA screen and a 3.2 megapixel camera. In addition to all that it includes a Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth support, media player, RSS reader, full HTML browser, Wayfinder Navigator and Google Maps.

Next to the G705, Sony Ericsson will release the G705u, the first UMA enabled phone that will be available only in Orange shops.

Starting with Q4 of this year the G705 will be available in “Silky Gold” or “Majestic Black” while the G705u will be available only in “Luminous Black”.

Especially for US, in 2009 the company will release a new version of the phone that will support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSUPA 850/1900/2100.
