Samsung announced recently that they are getting ready to release on the market in 2009 a trio of Android phones. According to the Russian reseller Euroset, one of these phones is without any doubt the new S8000.

The phone will measure only 12 mm in thickness and will hit the stores riding the 3D UI. Under the hood the S8000 will be powered by a 3.1? AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, 2 GB internal memory, a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, FM radio with RDS, a microSD slot, aGPS, WiFi, 3G, a 3.5mm headphone jack, DivX and XviD support.

Considering the source it’s obvious that the phone will first be available in Europe but we cannot say for sure when and if it will travel to US in the nearest future. Until then, folks living in Europe can preorder this baby for no less than 470€.
