The award for the greenest mobile phone in the world goes to Samsung F268! Greenpeace developed an analysis on several handsets and the F268 won the podium in front of the LG KT520, the Motorola V9, Nokia 3110 Evolve and the SE C905.

The results were published in the “Green Electronics: The Search Continues” report and hopefully this will trigger the development of new environmental friendly devices.

The Samsung F268 is made from non-toxic substances and its components don’t have flame resistant additives. Also, the device features a very useful alarm function that will simply turn off the charger the minute the battery is full.
