In the last few months there were rumors that Intel and Nokia will become long-term partners. It is now official. The press release says that they have agreed on a long-term partnership that could change the way you live. The release doesn’t say exactly how that is going to happen but we can assume this coalition will shift the mobile computing. The press release says that in time, most of the innovations were made through association between giants. Another important aspect of the press release is that it said the first thing on the agenda will be to innovate the new mobile platform much more than the smartphones, notebooks and netbooks can do today. I must say that an Intel-powered smartphone can be quite interesting.
