Nec Medias the new thinnest phone in the world
A month the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc was the thinnest smartphone in the world with a height of only 8.7 mm, then it was officially announced Samsung S Galaxy II, with a thickness of 8.49 mm. This Galaxy II remained thinnest phone in the world for a week, until the Japanese NEC Medias handset with 7.7 mm thick was launched.
Manufactured by the NEC Casio Mobile partnership, the Medias N-04C is currently only sold in Japan by the NTT DoCoMo local operator, and it will be launch in stores on March 15. The Medias NEC weighs only 105 grams, while the iPhone 4 weighs 137 grams. Here are the Nec Medias smartphone specifications:

- OS: Android 2.2 (upgrade from Android 2.3 in summer)

The price of the Nec Media smartphone has not been announced yet.
