Motorola Charm, the handset that was recently presented in a T-Mobile promotional poster has just been officially announced by the same operator. The Motorola Charm will be launched in the U.S.A. this summer and in the beginning of the next year in Europe.

Motorola Charm has Android 2.1 installed, and comes with an 2.8 inch touch display, a 3 megapixel camera. WiFi, Bluetooth, a Backtrack trackpad and a Flash browser. The handset uses a MOTOBLUR interface, and the famous Motorola technology for background noise cancellation.
The new Moto Charm has social networking features (Facebook, MySpace, Picasa, etc.) and comes with support for corporate email, pinch to zoom and touch control gestures in the browser and the photo gallery.

The T-Mobile did an extravagant event and now the phone is available for pre-orders.  The delivery date is guaranteed to be August the 5th if you order the phone before the 28th of July.  The T-Mobile representatives have said that they are quite proud of the Google partnership and that they plant to get more Android devices this year in their offer. The phone will be shipped in a zipper case that has a cloth screen sleeve. They have also matched the warranty with the device warranty. The downside is that they won’t bring the HTC Hero to USA any time soon.

It is called T-Mobile Dash 3G. You may have heard of it because news of its existance has leaked on some domains, prior to the press release. But still, the new product is brand new and has some interesting features. It is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, also has a Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS support. The exterior design is glossy, black and quite good looking. So far, nobody knows the price for it but we are still waiting. The press release says the price dilemma will be solved before July.

This powerful new baby features 3G, GPS, and a 3.2-inch full wide VGA display not to mention that it provides access to MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.

The rest of the specs list also comprises a microSD expansion with an 1GB card included in the package, a 3.2 megapixel AF camera with LED flash, stereo Bluetooth, HSDPA 2100, quadband EDGE and last but not least video recording and playback.

But the best news is that the Exchange ActiveSync support is on its way. Until then T-Mobile is offering the Sidekick LX for pre-sale but if you prefer to buy it directly from the store you’ll have to wait a few more days, ‚till May 13th to be more precise. The phone will wear a $199.99 price tag but this price will only be available after rebate on contract.
