Nokia N8 presentation

Announced since April, the super 12 megapixel cameraphone Nokia N8 is awaited for some time, and until it’s launch all we have are some images and previews of the handset like the one below:

The tests of this phone showed that we are dealing with a particular Nokia model with an incredible camera that will give any amateur photographer the perfect gadget that is able to make quality pictures. The Nokia N8 incorporates a 12 megapixel camera with a resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels, a Carl Zeiss optic system, Xenon flash and autofocus support.

The camera functions include geotagging, face detection/smile and video capture of 720p at 25 fps. From this pictures we see that Nokia N8 is an impressive multimedia gadget, which will convince us of its potential this fall, when it should arrive on the market.

Nokia C6-01

A new Nokia phone, the C6-01, has appeared on the web , this time officially, through the Dutch company site, although the handset has not been announced officially through a press release.

The new Nokia C6-01 comes with an 8 megapixel camera and its practically the same model as the C6-00, with an upgrade at the megapixel and the dual LED flash instead of the single LED. In addition, the back cover has a new design.

The front of the phone is identical, and the rest of the specifications are the same with the previous model: QWERTY keyboard, touch display with resolution of 360 x 640 pixels, GPS, WiFi, Ovi Maps and more. The Nokia C6-01 will cost 279 euros.

Nokia N9/E7 presented in a new video

A new Nokia prototype was presented on the web recently in a 4 minutes clips. The main dilemma is whether the presented handset is a N series or a E Series from Nokia.

According speculations the smartphone could be a Nokia N9, that appeared on the web in a video teaser a few weeks ago, but the handset may also be a Nokia E7 phone. In this cleep we can see a slim smartphone with sliding QWERTY keyboard and name code known as "Co". Although the terminal specifications are not known, the screen might have 3.5 inches or higher and the OS of the handset is Symbian 3. What do you think?

Nokia presents the latest Xseries addition. The new Nokia X2 (aka X2-00) slim music candybar that measures just 13mm thin and weighs 81g. It comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 5 Megapixel camera, FM stereo, USB 2.0 connection and Bluetooth 2.1. As a music phone, the X2 has dedicated music keys and supports up to 16GB microSD/SDHC for storing music. It includes also FM stereo. You can use Ovi Player 11 or Windows Media Player 11. The Nokia X2 will be available for Euro 85.

Nokia 5230 Nuron smartphone

Nokia and T-Mobile USA are presenting the new Nokia 5230 Nuron smartphone. The phone is based on the 5230 and T-Mobile is the first U.S. carrier-supported for this phone. It comes with Ovi Maps, offering free turn-by-turn navigation. The affordable phone has support for T-Mobile USA’s 3G network. It has a 3-inch touchscreen, 2 Megapixel camera, A-GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth and support for microSD card up to 16GB. It has a 3.5mm jack. The Nuron costs $69.99 with a 2-year contract.

Nokia has released in Poland the N97 mini Gold Edition that gets a 18-carat gold housing. This impressive edition will be available in Q2 in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. You can get N97 Mini from Amazon for about $497 and E72 for $469. In case you have forgotten, Nokia N97 Mini has is a side-slide QWERTY mobile phone with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, and also a 5 megapixel camera. Nokia E72 is a bar-type QWERTY phone with a 2.36-inch display and a 5 Megapixel camera. No matter which one you get, they all have A-GPS/GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and HSDPA/WCDMA.
