BlackBerry Storm 3 will be launched in September

The BlackBerry future phones are spied on the Internet, these including a possible future hit: BlackBerry Storm 3, which you can see in the picture below:

The terminal will be the first BlackBerry with a display of 800 x 480 pixels, and its features include a 1.2GHz processor and an optical trackpad. It seems that the new BlackBerry Storm 3 will debut in September in two or three international versions, but until then let’s take a look at the list of specifications:

BlackBerry 9800 Slider

BlackBerry 9800 Slider is the much-awaited smartphone produced by RIM, which would combine successfully a touch screen with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Berrytimes.cn has provided some pictures, which show a phone with a user-friendly sliding keyboard and the BlackBerry OS 6.0 promising platform. The new BlackBerry 9800 Slider will have 512 MB of RAM on plus a capacitive touch display, WiFi 802, and 4GB internal memory.
The SurePress input system is also supported, and the camera will have a 5 megapixels sensor, although this information was not confirmed yet.

New Bold 9650

RIM is now bringing the Bold 9650 smartphone that supports CDMA EVDO 3G network. The new Bold has a very stylish design with glossy black finish and chrome highlights. The trackpad is now optical. The phone features a 2.24-inch 480×360 LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash, auto focus, image stabilization and video recording. Alltel Wireless is launching Blackberry Curve 8530 smartphone. You can also get this beautiful and intelligent phone at Sprint and Verizon. The 8530 features an interesting 320×240 display, a trackpad for easy navigation, full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, Stereo Bluetooth, built-in GPS with BlackBerry Maps and geo-tagging functionality, plus WiFi conectivity. Research In Motion (RIM) is presenting a very interesting and useful device called BlackBerry Presenter. This allow you to deliver PowerPoint presentations using your BlackBerry smartphone without needing a computer. The device is connected using Bluetooth and works with a monitor or projector using VGA or S-video. Slide animations and effects in Powerpoint 2003 and 2007 are supported, plus the Freeze mode and Loop mode. It works with BlackBerry Bold 9000, BlackBerry Bold 9700, BlackBerry Curve 8500 Series, BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Tour and costs $199.

Blackberry Storm2

Verizon Wireless and RIM are planning to launch the new Blackberry Storm2. This smartphone will be the successor of Storm and will be launched on 28 October. The phone will be pre-loaded with the new BlackBerry OS 5.0 and will have a 25-inch 480×320 capacitive touchscreen that integrates the SurePress Clickable display technology and Send, End, Menu, Escape functions. Plus, besides GPS, support for WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack, the phone also has a 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera with image stabilization, flash and video recording. Among other feautres: 256MB flash memory and 2GB of onboard media storage as well as a microSD/SDHC card slot. Verizon will sell if for about $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.

BlackBerry Bold

RIM has the difficult task of figuring how to replace the popular model of BlackBerry. But now it seems that they will pull it through because they just announced the new Bold 9700, also known under the name of Onyx. The model keeps the same design but with enhanced features like a 3.2 megapixels, giving the screen another 40 lines of vertical resolution (480 x 360, up from 480 x 320). Plus, it will be shipped with the brand new BlackBerry OS 5.0 out of the gate. The new phone also replaces the trackball with an optical trackpad, continuing the trend started by Curve 8520. It seems that carriers will be presenting this phone in November for about $199 after $100 mail-in rebate.

BlackBerry Onyx

It seems that the manufacturer didn’t keep the new BlackBerry Onyx away from the eyes of the public as now we found on the internet leaked images of what it looks to be the new and shiny phone. It seems that this is official press image and release from T-Mobile before the official launch. RIM’s will be preloading it with the Amazon MP3 store and it will be available on sale starting with November. The device will also support Wi-Fi and UMA. It seems that the partnership with Amazon is going well as they are offering BlackBerry app already. But let’s look at the picture.

WordPress for BlackBerry users

The BlackBerry users who are into blogging will be so happy to hear that they are now able to use WordPress for BlackBerry. It has a great functionality and lets you post, edit the posts and manage the blogs even if you are not using the computer. There is an update that has leaked out, it is the 0.9.0.134 version. There are no big changes, just smaller problem fixed. For example, they have upgraded the XML-RPC and fixed the field category. They also added the paste option to the link assistant and also a menu item to help you check for newer versions of the app. There have also been some improvements on image handling but no format conversion.

LG BL42 is exposed

Pictures of the LG BL42 have appeared to expose the successor of LG Chocolate. It looks really stylish and quite cute. The resolution will be 240×320 pixels and it will have Java. The phone is also available to UMTS and has a great 5-megapixel camera. The first country where the camera will be available is Netherlands and there is no information on the price.
